We absolutely loved our night of fashionable fun featuring Seattle designer Cameron Levin and her new 2012 Sati collection! The music was loud, Antoine de Clairvoy champagne was bubbling, O’Wine was a favorite (as always!) and the company was hip and exciting! Guests consisted of local Seattle fashionistas, fashion/trend bloggers (we love you, Sydney Chavez!) and special friends. Cameron’s line, constructed using water-preserving sustainable fabrics such as 100% organic cotton and bamboo jerseys, was a huge hit with the ladies and looked stunning.

Thank you to everyone who was able to attend this special event! A special thanks to  Calidora Skin Clinic, Milagros SalonSpa, Tropical Tan, and Honeysuckle Organic Spa for the gift bags! Thank you Ms. Cameron for sharing your exciting new line with us! xo

 
 

On Tuesday, April 24, I attended a “We Inspire Luncheon” at the Washington State Convention Center. The luncheon is held to ”improve the lives of women and families in our community and help the YWCA move closer to its $26.5 million Women Empowered (WE) Campaign goal.” Each luncheon brings you face to face with acclaimed speakers and women whose lives have been changed with help from the YWCA. I was fortunate enough to hear journalist and Pulitzer Prize winner, Sheryl WuDunn. Sheryl “is currently a senior managing director at Mid-Market Securities, an investment banking boutique serving growth companies in the middle market, including companies founded and run by women. She is also president of TripleEdge, a social investing consultancy, and a Senior Fellow at Yale University, co-teaching a course on global affairs with a specific focus on China’s economic development and its global role.”

The event was an honor and privilege to attend! I truly appreciate what the YWCA is doing for  lives of women and families in not only our community, but around the country! If you are interested in attending, please look at the information located here!
