Each year Karan donates a generous portion of her time, energy and beautiful fashions to many fund-raising events throughout the Pacific Northwest. You’ll see her smiling face at numerous events throughout the year.

DOWNTOWN SEATTLE ROCKED THE RUNWAY – FASHION NIGHT OUT

On Thursday, September 6th, Karan Dannenberg Clothier participated in the Fashion Night Out downtown Seattle
Rocked the Runway fashion show. The fashion show was a huge success and the models looked stunning in Mackage coats, CJ by Cookie Johnson Jeans, sexy Kokin hats, and more! Our favorite winery, O’Wines, also played a special part
in the event! Net proceeds from ticket sales were donated to their charity providing scholarships for young women!

GILDA’S CLUB 15th ANNUAL “SURVIVING WITH STYLE” LUNCHEON & FASHION SHOW

On Thursday, June 16th, I was fortunate enough to attend this inspirational and touching event hosted by Gilda’s Club honoring cancer survivorship. Cynthia Nixon, of Sex and the City, delivered an incredible speech! Thank you to everyone who particpates with this incredible foundation!

On Saturday, May 19th, ladies enjoyed O’Wine while shopping our NYDJ Trunk Show which featured denim in fabulous, bold colors and exotic prints, the must have trends of the season! Two lucky ladies won a free pair of NYDJ. Read more about the event here.
On April 26th, Cameron Levin joined us to unveil her 2012 “Sati” line from 5:00-8:00P.M.
Everyone sipped Antoine de Clairvoy Champagne from SJT Cellars and ate light hors d’oeuvres all while getting a first look at this fantastic collection, constructed using water-preserving sustainable fabrics which include 100% organic cotton and bamboo jerseys! YWCA WE INSPIRE LUNCHEON feat. SHERYL WUDUNN

The “We Inspire Luncheon” at the Washington State Convention Center was a privilege to attend. The
luncheon is hosted in order to ”improve the lives of women and families in our community and help the
YWCA move closer to its $26.5 million Women Empowered (WE) Campaign goal.” Each luncheon brings you face to face with acclaimed speakers and women whose lives have been changed with help from the YWCA.

line by designer Elana Kattan which features beautiful jersey and stretch mesh fabrics that are
bright, bold, and gorgeous! Stacy Lill, founder of O’Wine, will also be joining us from
3:00-5:00PM to personally serve her incredible line of wines! We look forward to seeing everyone!

We absolutely loved spending the day hosting a shopping
event where a portion of the proceeds from the ladies fabulous purchases were donated to Olive Crest, a well-respected organization that is “dedicated to Preventing child abuse, to Treating and Educating at-risk children and to Preserving the family… ‘One Life at a Time.’” We are honored to be a part of this wonderful organization and are thankful to those who came in and shopped! Thanks Ladies!
Our Sympli the Best trunk show featuring Rock Star Jewelry by Martha Driver was a huge success! Ladies loved the latest washable travel wear by Sympli, as well as Martha’s incredible line of necklaces, bracelets, and earrings all while sipping delicious O Wine and TalkingRain Sparkling water! The Seattle Hotel Associations 15th Annual “Evening of Hope,” which benefited the Seattle Police Foundation, was held on February 4, 2012 and was a huge success! This event allows the Seattle Police Foundation (SPF) to increase support and awareness for the Seattle Police Department. This was our 5th time participating in this moving event. Some of
our customers are survivors of cancer or going through treatments
for cancer, so this event is always very close to Karan’s heart.
Dressing the models is always a rewarding experience and we are
honored to be a part of Gilda’s Seattle. Our give back to Gilda’s day
happens after the fashion show and we give 20% of the proceeds that day
to this incredible organization.
The 11th annual Gala was held at the Westin in Bellevue on March 5, 2011. It was an unforgettable night! We were extremely proud to be a part of such a wonderful organization dedicated to helping children and families! The night was a big success and all together the event raised $435,000. Our table of handbags were a huge hit! Ladies went crazy over our styles and our prices. As a sponsor of this event, we gave 20% of our sales back to Gilda’s and donated several bags for the silent auction. Thank you David LeClair for putting this fabulous event together!
With champagne flowing and models strutting down the runway, this first time event blew us all away! As stated by Olive Crest, “Thanks to Karan Dannenberg Clothier and her team who raised $20,000 to benefit the children of Olive Crest! Many of the 150 guests had never heard our compelling Olive Crest story before.”
